DRAFT — needs legal review

These draft notices describe the current beta. They are not a lawyer-reviewed final policy. Contact the operator through your beta invitation for questions or requests.

koup turns your footage and brief into finished videos using a versioned editing Skill and Claude-based workers.

01The private beta

Access may require an invitation. The free trial is 2 videos with 2 revisions shared between them, once per person, and remains subject to anti-abuse checks; an invitation does not guarantee a free trial. Beta availability and output quality are not guaranteed. Review every video before publishing, including captions, treatment claims, prices, music and branding.

02Your content and permissions

You retain rights in your uploaded content. You give koup permission to store, process and deliver it to provide the service, including processing by Claude in isolated, restricted Docker workers and by media tools. Only upload material you are entitled to use, with permission from identifiable people where required. You are responsible for the brief and your use of the result.

03AI-assisted editing

Claude-based editing can make mistakes. A selected Skill guides the worker; automated quality checks do not certify factual accuracy, legal compliance or suitability. Footage and briefs may be made available to Anthropic's Claude service during editing. This notice does not promise that third-party providers never retain data or use it for training; their applicable terms govern their processing.

04Credits, revisions and payments

A generation reserves one credit. Successful completion spends it; failure or cancellation releases the reservation. The first two successful revisions are free, then one credit covers each pair of revisions. Razorpay processes credit-pack payments; the local beta uses test mode. Credit returns are not cash refunds. See the Refunds notice before purchasing.

05Availability and deletion

Default retention is 30 days for source footage after project completion, 90 days for outputs, 30 days for logs and 24 hours for failed or abandoned uploads. Windows are configurable and an administrator may extend a project. Daily cleanup protects active-job references. Download outputs before their displayed expiry. Account deletion and data export are available from Account; accounting records may be retained after anonymisation.

06Acceptable use and changes

Do not upload illegal content, infringe rights, abuse trial access or attempt to escape worker isolation. See Acceptable use for details. The sign-in flow records the accepted draft version and time after identity verification. Material updates require a new acceptance on sign-in. Final legal terms, governing law and operator details require legal review before production use.
